I have over 5 years of experience building web applications with Django. I use an open-source Django framework called Cookiecutter Django, which streamlines much of the setup for modern web applications. That’s important—because a lot goes into app development.
This very website is built using Cookiecutter Django, with Wagtail CMS layered in for content management. While it’s mainly a brochure site, I’m comfortable building out fully featured application prototypes using Django, Bootstrap, ASGI (for WebSockets), Celery, and HTMX.
Some applications I’m familiar with building include:
I write a lot of Python scripts to help clients with data science, data manipulation, and automation. Most of this work revolves around API requests—fetching data from multiple sources, transforming or analyzing it, and pushing updates.

Zapier is a fantastic tool—and most companies already use it. It’s a mostly no-code platform that makes syncing data between tools quick, cheap, and easy. When needed, I also write custom code steps to get around Zapier’s limitations.
HubSpot Operations Hub offers similar functionality but with fewer features. I usually only recommend using it if:
That said, both tools are great for automating processes and improving data flow. I enjoy setting up automations that help businesses scale and streamline their operations.
